Who is 97 Ensemble?
The Ensemble is made of graduates and students of the Royal College of Music.
Why are there men in the ensemble?
We at 97 Ensemble don't believe that the onus is only on those who identify as women to care about and fight against the prevalence of sexual harassment in our society. Domestic violence and sexual abuse are often called "women's issues." By keeping the focus on women, we risk perpetuating a victim blaming rape culture. Why isn't 100% of my ticket purchase going to Solace Women's Aid?
